Trekking in Montserrat

Route from Montserrat Monastery to Sant Jeroni:

This circular route takes hikers from the Monastery of Montserrat to the summit of Sant Jeroni, the highest point of the massif at 1,236 meters. The route crosses rocky landscapes and offers panoramic views of Catalonia.

Distance: Approximately 13 kilometers.

Duration: Between 4 and 5 hours.

Difficulty: Medium.

On the way to the Holy Cave of Montserrat:

Description: This path leads to the Holy Cave, the place where, according to tradition, the image of the Virgin of Montserrat was found. The path is adorned with modernist sculptures representing the mysteries of the rosary.

From La Frasera, the Monastery of Montserrat can be reached by car in approximately 30 minutes
